Frequently asked questions

Find answers about choosing a reborn doll, materials, certificates, custom enquiries, delivery and collection from MB Reborn Studio. If you have a question about a particular doll, contact Marzena.

What is a reborn doll?

A reborn doll is a lifelike art doll finished by hand. At MB Reborn Studio, Marzena creates each finished piece individually, building realistic colouring and details. You can read about the artist and her work.

How do I choose a reborn doll?

Start with the available dolls and read the details of the individual piece, including its description, price and current availability. If you are unsure about a material or feature, ask Marzena before ordering. The collector archive also shows examples of previous work.

Will my doll include a certificate?

Finished dolls are supplied with the relevant certificate or documentation for the piece, including kit documentation where applicable.

Can I collect in person?

Yes. Collection can be arranged from the Hemel Hempstead studio by appointment.

Do you make custom dolls?

Custom enquiries are welcome, depending on availability. You can discuss details such as the sculpt, hair, colouring and other finishing choices before a commission is accepted. See how custom reborn doll enquiries work.

Why are reborn dolls expensive?

They are handmade art pieces. Painting, hair rooting, assembly, weighting, materials, clothing, photography and finishing can take many hours or even days of concentrated work.

Are these dolls toys for young children?

Most pieces are collector art dolls and need gentle handling. Suitability for a child depends on the individual piece and the buyer's judgement.

Are they made from silicone?

Most MB Reborn Studio dolls use vinyl head and limbs with a soft cloth body unless a listing clearly states otherwise.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, international shipping can be arranged. Contact me if your destination is not listed.

Can I return a custom-made doll?

Please read the shipping and returns policy, which covers ready-made dolls and bespoke commissions separately. If you are considering a custom commission, ask Marzena about the terms for your individual order before paying.
